A new festive discovery: pistachio hot chocolate! I recently found a local merchant selling pistachio–chocolate disks, originally intended for pastry toppings. When gently melted with crème fraîche, organic milk, and a touch of vanilla extract, they transform into a rich, velvety drink perfect for celebratory days (and nights). Served in a beautiful glass kindly lent by a generous dear friend, it becomes an even more luxurious winter treat to sip slowly and savour throughout the Christmas season. Let the festivities (and flavours) begin!
