The Greek band Swing Shoes was formed in Athens in 2006. Initially a street guitar duo, they gradually evolved into a four-member ensemble, adding bass and drums. Since then, they often perform with a fifth member on harmonica. Their music follows the rules of the swing idiom, expanded by covers of traditional Greek tunes, jazz standards, and several off-the-cuff numbers. A bluesy, folk sound with eclectic influences, energy and drive. Rooted in the past, nurtured for years, blossoming now!
