Hailed as a smashing virtuoso who breaks the mold, the Canadian pianist and composer Alain Lefèvre pursues an international career, having performed in over 40 countries. Phenomenal technique, sparkling playing, sovereign mastery, dazzling performances. Yet, his humbleness remains disarming. Alain wrote“Mati” (featuring bouzouki soloist Thanassis Polykandriotis) after the tragic blaze of 2018.

So excited to cook a traditional main course for two dear friends who love Greece and chose it as their second home. Their favourite food is giouvetsi with veal. And so thankful to an old fellow student from the music conservatory for his special gift: a hand-made ceramic pot (gastra) from Mount Pelion. Friendship, one the greatest blessings of life…
