I chose it to accompany my kumquat liqueur: bright yet reflective, delicate yet persistent. Like the music, the drink balances sweetness and distance — an echo of memory, citrus light, and quiet, lingering warmth on the palate.

My kumquat liqueur, patiently crafted with home-made tsipouro, organic fruits and sugar. Bright, aromatic and gently warming, it captures the essence of citrus and tradition in every sip. A small ritual of care, time and balance — where simplicity, fragrance and heritage meet in liquid form. Kumquats (=golden oranges in Chinese) are often eaten whole in China. They are symbolically associated with prosperity and good luck, especially around Lunar New Year.
